"Chicom Revenge & One-Party Gridlock Returns"

Hello, everyone, I hope you're all hanging in there and tuning out the hype. Not gonna be much of a St. Paddy's this year, obviously. Yes, the Covid 19 crisis is very real, but the hype being generated by the same media that filed H1N1 with a yawn in 2009, is totally agenda driven and designed to take out Trump, by destroying the economy his policies made so strong. The never Trumpers and liberals will poo poo what I'm asserting, of course. I ask them this, did we have mass panic, people emptying the shelves of stores hoarding all sorts of items, mass cancellations and closures when the death toll of Americans with H1N1 hit 1,000? The answer is no, we did not!
That's because neither Obama nor his accomplice fawning media were about to say or report anything that would interfere with the govt. takeover of healthcare, aka Obamacare. On the contrary, Obama was praised, even when they only came up with about 10% of the needed vaccines for H1N1. That's no surprise for a President who was awarded the Nobel Peace for doing absolutely nothing. It's clear we have a media and political party who don't care if they crash the nation's economy, just as long as it takes out Trump. What they ignore at their peril is that this obsession carries with it the risk that voters will see Trump doing what he does best, solving problems.
We got a February Surprise from China, versus the usual Oct. Surprise often seen in presidential election years. This was the Chicom regime's payback to us and Trump, for actually wanting them to level the playing field, stop theft of technology, and stop their currency and trade imbalance practices. The Chinese sent a biologic weapon, in the form of thousands of its own infected people, throughout the world and the world is now paying a high price for its naivete and obsession with only profits. The wizards of smart, who outsourced most industries, never stopped to think that having most of our goods and drugs made by a nation that has mastered the art of manufacturing cheap crap and totalitarian oppression at the same time, would end this disastrously. Well, it has, and I wonder if the world will learn its lesson and stop this madness? Do globalists and NWO greed mongers from both parties and other nations even care that the system they counted on has now turned on all of us with a vengeance?
Aside from getting a handle on this pandemic, which we will, we also need to take draconian steps to disengage from any and all dependence on China for what we've allowed them to monopolize. Will it be difficult and costs us? Hell, yes, but look what's it's costing us now! Our entire society, industries and way of life have been up ended and are on a collision course for destruction, at least for the time being. We cannot let that ever happen again and we must punish the Chicom Regime for its crimes.
They wanna call in our debt? Fine, we don't pay it, what are they gonna do about it? This is a time for hardball, not patty cakes! Don't expect the globalists and their accomplice media (one and the same in the case of Mini Mike) to support that. They've got Red China's hand so far up their butts, they've even resorted to shaming anyone who calls Covid 19 what it is, the China flu or Wuhan Flu. We've always named organisms for their region of origin. Hong Kong Flu, West Nile Virus, Ebola Virus, Coxsackie Virus (a county in NY state) to name a few. I don't recall the media freaking out about any of those names, do you? Don't expect politicians or media to call for condemning China or putting the blame where it truly belongs. The left will always embrace our enemies before our nation.
I wanna end with one-party gridlock, it's what we're seeing from Tallahassee, nothing we haven't seen before. By that, I'm referring to the fact Republicans control both the FL House & Senate, as well as the governorship, and they have for decades. That doesn't stop them from failure to come to agreement on basic functions, scope of govt. and how to fund it. They extended session by one week and one thing guaranteed to come out of it is there will be no funding for our fluoridation, Donated Dental Services staffing or loan repayment for dental grads who sign a contract to practice in under served areas. There's always some excuse, year after year, we're Charlie Brown to their Lucy and we ain't never gonna kick that football!
I go up for Dentist Day on the Hill and see the same kabuki theater. They smile, take our $, tell us they're working hard to get it done, but it's all lip service. At least the lawmakers can't ever be accused of being afraid of the dentist, that's for sure. They were far more scared of that little twerp, David Hogg, and his merry band of stupid anti-gun kids. Look at how panicked they were after the MSD shootings and how they fell all over each other to pass bad legislation in a knee jerk fashion. Sorry, my friends. but our issues simply don't pack that kind of punch or register on their radar screen. A major part of this has been due to the House acting in a sophomoric manner and the Senate being the adults in the room, but just not able to get bicameral consensus. Looking at the lightweights who've been speaker, it's not a surprise. Whether it was Frat Boy Dean Cannon, Empty Suit Steve Crisafulli or the current Jose Cigar Man Oliva, their lack of priority or concern has resulted in a collective nothin' burger for dental issues.
I know I'm gonna catch hell for my reportage, some from dear friends, I don't mind. I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it anymore. Two sessions ago I sent a resolution to our GAC (Govt. Action Committee) to stop funding those who impede us and name, as well as give more to those who help. It was met with a flat out rejection and I was told that would only make things worse. Well, it looks like doing the same old, same old has made things worse. The only bright spot this session was we stopped the therapists again, thank God. I really think the fix is in in Tallahassee and they've decided they'll give us that one and we should be happy and just STFU about our other bills. I'd love to be proven wrong on that, though I'm not holding my breath. After 25 years of DDOH, I've decided to hang up my lobbyist shoes. I won't go away or stand down, just not waste my time taking a day and a half from my practice and flying up to repeat Einstein's Def. of Dental Advocacy Insanity. Although this should not need to be said, I wanna make sure you all know it. My take on the state of our advocacy the past few years is in no way a reflection of my opinion on the efforts of our legislative staff in Tallahassee. They work tirelessly on our behalf and do everything humanly possible to impress upon the legislators the importance of passing and funding FDA issues. This failure is squarely on the lawmakers, not our staff and their director.
I hope all of you stay safe and this nightmare ends sooner than later. Take care, my friends!
