"America & The World Collapse Around Obama"

Hello, my friends! I'll get to the main topic soon but first some dental news. Yes, we finally passed non-covered services and it's been signed into law! Took us long enough, but it's still good news. Our next legislative gallstone will be keeping dental medicaid funding separate from medical. I'll go into greater detail on that one when we tackle it next year. The other issue is the BOD rules language that would never have seen the light of day or the inside of the HOD, if not for our district. We may be small but we pack a punch. It was Rich Mufson who first brought it up since the FSOMS was taking the issue seriously. But we are all dentists and this abusive, capricious overreach wil hurt all of us. Here's the deal on this.
 There are a few bad apples who don't give a damn what the rules are and repeatedly find themselves before the BOD. This group has used the tactic of lawyering up and beating the rap in civil court. This is, no doubt, upsetting the board members who genuinely wanna do their job and pursue these bad actors. One of the reasons they feel they keep losing is rules language, particularly record keeping, that allows enough wiggle room for reasonable doubt and the perps to prevail. So, their solution was to significantly tighten up this language to the point of onerous absurdity. They wanna mandate that we record things like what brand, how much dental materials we used. They also want what type(s) of injection we used, who assisted us and their initials. We all record how many carpules of anesthetic we use and what type. I told an attorney pt. of mine the staff's initials rule and she said, "Wow, are you guys doing pelvic exams now?"
 I doubt any of you are naive enough to believe this piling on will protect our patients or that it will have any impact on those who've already shown they simply don't care what the law is. What it will do is cause undue distraction from what we should be focused on (the pt. in our chair), waste time, increase costs and arm our ambulance chaser adversaries with even more ways to get us. Basically this is a case of the BOD attorneys losing in court to outside hired guns and the BOD punishing the 6,000 dentists who practice the right way and respect laws. They need to get better litigators, period. More laws have never prevented anything illegal, see Prohibition, homicides, rape, drug abuse and speeding. In the end, the HOD voted to oppose this language and do a rules challenge. But it was a very narrow vote and only made possible by requesting secret ballots. I was dismayed the most by the unbelievable number of my colleagues who exhibited such Stockholm Syndrome re: the BOD and walk on eggshells around them, as if the BOD is all knowing and infallible. Please don't misconstrue my point. I have the nothing but respect for the BOD, but they're only human and capable of getting an issue wrong. I believe this case is one of those times. This issue is far from over.
 Now about that collapse. Look at our economy, the VA, the job market, our southern border and Iraq. Yes, it's one big SNAFU! The cost of everything from ins. premiums, food, gas, durable goods and tuition keeps rising. Even the universities are citing Obamacare as one of the reasons for an already ridiculously high tuition going even higher. Never mind the fact these kids are gonna live with mom & pop till they're 40. Anyone who shares the delusion of govt. run healthcare working need only look to the VA, it's a disgrace! Illegal aliens get better, faster medical care than our vets.
 The part of the VA scandal that infuriates me the most is that the govt. claims it lacks the $ to properly care for our vets, but they have plenty to give out $ millions in bonuses to those "administrators" who were most adept at rationing care and cooking the books to cover it up. They also seem to find $ millions to pay out in lawsuit damages when they really screw up big. This pattern of rewarding those who destroy the lives and livelihoods of others is also seen in the IRS bonuses. As soon as Fido pukes up the IRS's homework, maybe we can find out even more. But if any who work in these bureaucracies speak out, they are targeted. The textbook definition of an anti-social attribute is to help those who harm others while hurting those who help others. That's exactly what our govt. agencies are doing. Needless to say, the constant in all of these issues is the fact these are govt. union employees who know they can't be fired. If the private sector votes to be unionized, so be it. That trend is going sharply the other way, we now have one fifth of the 35% union market share of private industry seen in the 1950s. It's enough to make you lose faith in Archie Bunker, Ralph Kramden and Ed Norton! If you wanna see a disgusting example of negligence and incompetence a la govt. style, ck. out this story.

 I won't deal with the Middle East for too long. When you have factions who hate each other since the year 700 A.D., populations whose greatest allegiance is to their radical Muslim sect over their nation, and a dysfunctional, corrupt military who will not fight, no amount of US $ or intervention can save them from themselves. Al Malicki failed to see that the Sunni component he humiliated and sent home would bear a grudge and rise up against him. These hatreds and the violence they produce make the Irish wars of the 1970s-80s look like Winnie the Pooh & Tigger. We made the mistake of believing these backward savages could respect and embrace civil discourse, democracy and respect for women. Then we further compounded the damage by giving them all this sophisticated, high power weaponry the ISIS thugs can now play with and rub our noses in on social media. Sending over military advisors won't fix that if the Iraqis were too weak from the get go, the damage is done. If anyone still thinks Obama has a clue on the Middle East, I give you the Bergdhal swap. Even a buffoon like Jimmy Carter would never trade 5 Al Qaeda all stars for 1 traitorous deserter whose dad's first words were to praise Allah on the WH lawn. Al Qaeda is LOL at Obama and at us for electing this gift that keeps on giving, twice.
 Just when we thought the Dems were losing their voter base, they showed us they're still able to recruit more. Because that's all this "kids on the border crisis" is, aside from a hearty FU to Govs. Perry & Brewer by Obama for their open defiance to his tyranny. We're to believe these grade school and pre-kinder tots came from Honduras and Guatemala, traversed the entire Mexican mainland and made it to the exact Border Patrol choke points all by themselves? They not only don't run from La Migra, they run toward La Migra, it's like something from a George Lopez or Cheech & Chong movie. Let's not forget, there are other far more dangerous undesirables who also come across in these tidal waves. Just as Obama uses the Cloward & Piven tactic of overwhelming us with too many scandals to process, the same applies with hordes of hungry "refugees". We've got a Border Patrol too busy making PBJs and changing Huggies to protect our border. These are the anchor kids whose parents will eventually arrive and become Democrat voters. I've heard some Miami libs use the Pedro Pan analogy as an excuse. Cubans came across in the Pedro Pan flights but these were organized, rosters with names and finite numbers, as well as the faith based organizations who placed, housed and fed these kids. Some of our colleagues were Pedro Pan kids. To compare the 2 is apples to oranges- ok, mangoes to avocadoes. Today, the Messiah came out talking tough (always makes me LOL) and said he'll personally tell these nations those kids will be sent home, etc. Sounds great, most likely panicked calls from Dems who know they're gonna get killed in the Nov. elections by angry Americans who are fed up. I'll end with Missippi.

What the Cochran regime did, aided by former MS Gov. Haley Barbour (who reminds me a lot of Boss Hogg from Dukes of Hazzard) is not only disgraceful, it's also illegal and should be prosecuted. To mobilize the black communities with envelopes containing $15 of "walking around $" and robo calls telling them McDaniel would keep them from voting and interfere with our first African American Pres. is something you'd expect to see in a parody film like Wag The Dog. They've already found over 1,000 illegal ballots from Dems who'd voted in the June 3 primary for the Dem candidate then voted for Cochran on June 24, that's verboten. This also shows the GOP is basically a worthless version of Dems Lite. All they want is for RINOs like Cochran to keep the pork coming to a state that's still 49th out of 50, despite decades of govt. $. This old coot should be put out to pasture and it's exactly why we need federal term limits. If these true Uncle Toms were so in love with Thad (as is the current spin) for all his generosity and help after Katrina, where were they on June 3? It wasn't until they were mobilized that they suddenly realized he was their new messiah and turned out 40-50% higher in the run off. This tactic will be repeated until the GOP closes all of its primaries to registered GOP voters, only. As for MS, if McDaniel doesn't get these votes tossed out, he can run as a write in Nov. and likely win. How poetic it would be, to use a page from the Lisa Murkowski playbook? I think the more voters see what Cochran did, the angrier they'll be. There's also the fact these bandwagon jumping black voters will not back him over their own party's candidate. "Holy Cows, Religion of Peace & Affordable Care"

So much has been happening the last few weeks. We now know the DHS & BLM are far more concerned with terrorizing Bundy's cows and fed up Americans than protecting our borders. If only those cows were deemed to be an illegal breed from El Sur, whose only sin was to seek greener pastures in El Norte, they would be getting fat off the govt. grass and issued all kinds of protections and gimmes. Maybe if they were OWS cows, fighting to stop Big Agriculture and its evil minions like ADM, they'd be celebs and Leatherface would praise them as "organic and spontaneous". It must be said Bundy's a racist moron who can't seem to shut up or realize the media are not his buddies, he certainly has a talent for self destruction and alienating symapathizers. That said, the regime blinked and there will be more of these standoffs. As long as cameras are rolling and an infuriated nation is watching Obama's unmitigated tyranny, he won't have the nads to do what he'd really like- to fire on fellow Americans who oppose his thuggish arrogance. We must remain vigilant and armed.
 Yesterday was Armed Forces Day, I hope all of you thanked any vet you saw for their service. It makes me sick to see what's happening in the V.A. It's nothing new and has nothing to do with who's in power. The V.A. is a corrupt den of ineptitude, protected by a mafia of govt. unions and a refusal to fix anything. Those in the system who try can be ostracized and threatened. I can't think of a more outrageous example of this dysfunctional mess than the fact elderly vets who fought in WWII are denied care, many even dying from negelct, but the PC bureaucrats are falling all over themselves to facilitate a sex change operation for traitor Bradley Manning, so the tranny freak can become Abigail, or whatever new "identity" it desires. No one who's served in the military deserves this abandoment by the very nation they sacrificed so much for.
 Just when Hillary thought she'd gotten some distance from her State Dept. legacy of total ineptitude, we get the Boko Bros. acting out, you can't write this stuff, my friends. No, it's not Procol Harum (Whiter Shade of Pale), it's Boko Haram, another group ready to show the world why we don't need to fear Islam or it's dark dream of a world caliphate. This is the sick cult that has lackeys like CAIR running around to reassure us they're a religion of peace, embrace tolerance and wish they'd get it from us unrepentent infidels. There are more and more Muslim women coming out and speaking loudly to all who will listen that there's no such thing as moderate Islam or any trace of a modern, civilized society when these zealots are in power. How many of you who have young daughters could even imagine them being denied education, voting rights and subjected to genital mutilation- all in the name of God? How many of you who are adult women could even begin to fathom a world where you are covered in a shroud of shame and must tolerate any and all abuse from your husband, including beating you in public if you upset him? The African continent is exploding in Islamic terror, with numerous bombings in Kenya, Somalia and cases like Boko Haram in Nigeria. They have one common bond, aside from radical Islam, weak govts. too corrupt and dysfunctional to take a stand. I had to LOL today when I heard a report that these nations get upset by U.S. State Dept. travel advisories, feeling they're meant to punish the African nations. Really??!! Any American crazy enough to visit any of these hell holes should at least be forewarned. I couldn't care less if that punishes any nation that wants our tourist $ but can't punish their own barbarians. Can you imagine if the Tea Party (deemed by Obama to be the greatest threat the country faces) was running around in marauding hordes, kidnapping tourists, taking young girls and bombing public places? Yet Her Thighness stubbornly refused to call Boko Haram a terrorist group over the last 2 years.
 That brings me to Benghazi, I can't wait for the new hearings. Obama has the old Soviet mindset that if scandals are so numerous and complex, the average idiot will fail to focus or give them any importance. We shall see, once Trey Gowdy is done with them. Boo Hoo had to appoint this new committee when the smoking gun email recently surfaced. I think he knows he'll get reelected but his days as SoH are numbered. But don't worry, PBS's shrieking old hen, Eleanor Clift, just reassured us Embassador Stevens was not murdered, he died of smoke inhalation, LOL. Yes, and Trayvon Martin died of heavy metal toxicity. Denial, born of desperation, can be truly hilarious.
 How about some dentistry? We finally got our non-covered services passed, Lex Luthor better damn well sign it! It only took 4 sessions and it looks like our bill to keep dental Medicaid $ separate from medical $ will also be an uphill fight. This past DDOH I asked Sen. Pres. Don Gaetz (in a conference room with 40-50  dentists) why he was blocking our "keep dental separate" bill. His excuse was that if the state gave every interest group a carve out, they incur huge admin costs. When I reminded him those costs would pale in comparison to what poor folks with no dental homes cost the taxpayers in ER visits, he didn't like it or have an answer. I also told him we'd be back- and we will. I won't miss Gaetz and hope the new Sen. Pres. is better for our issues. The fact Gaetz has refused to assign a man as highly qualified in healthcare our own Dr. Alan Hays to any healthcare committee, should tell us all we need to know about his priorities. You'll be happy to know the Cuban dentist bunch (in CA) is still at it, but found no one to sponsor their bill this session. If they'd just done the 2-year DDS training, instead of the 4-5 years and $150,000+  they've wasted on lobbying for special favors, they'd be practicing ages ago. Oh, well, some folks just never learn, shortcuts can prove to be very long.

If you just wanna use the simple, time honored smell test: ask your pts. how much better their coverage is, do they still have their Drs. and how much they're saving? I know none of my patients are happy and my M.D. pts. are furious.
As we get closer to Nov., look for Obama and his media lackeys to ramp up distractons like "war" on women, racial injustice, equal pay and climate change. Their only problem is most Americans don't give a damn about those issues and are reminded every month what Obamacare is really all about.

It's Obama and the rest of the world who are crying a river over Putin's blatant invasion and annexation of a sovereign nation. Since we all know nobody's gonna bomb or otherwise attack the Russkies, the bully has won- at least for now. Severe $ sanctions by ALL of Europe & the US will hurt Russia, especially if it includes all their corrupt, well connected oligarchs who live in posh Euro capitals and whose little Borises & Natashas attend the finest private schools where they can learn about an actual world beyond babushkas, claustrophobic apts. and potato juice. What Ukraine needs to do is pass a law that anyone who chooses to stay in the newly stolen West Russia (which last week was Crimea) can never return to the Ukraine, they're barred for life. Once the Putinmoon ends, it might be poetic justice for these folks to really have to live with the govt. they deserve. Funny how Vlad made it a 5-year gulag term for anyone wanting to break away from Russia, but has no problem enforcing the breakaway of part of another nation. Once again, we see the pathetic weakness projected by Obama, who promised "more flexibility" to Vlad via his sock puppet, Dimitri. Equally pathetic was Lurch (see Addams family butler), aka Sec. Kerry, who tried to scold Putin but kept reassuring him that it was neither personal nor a threat. Meanwhile Russia's Lurch counterpart threatened to reduce the US to nuke dust! When the Ukrainian leader came here and asked for weaponry, Obama offered him MREs, LOL. So, it was a case of  "I won't sell you weapons but here are some TV dinners".  We shouldn't be surprised when Putin moves into the rest of Ukraine, the EU better grow a pair real fast.
 I won't waste much time speculating about the Malaysian flt. 370, other than to say it will likely turn out to be a suicidal pilot or crew member. No American should ever fly on any airline from an Islamic nation, see Egypt Air flt. 990 to refresh your memory.
 How's that Obamacare workin' for ya? Yes, it's a total debacle and it looks like the Dems are gonna pay dearly. We already saw Alex sink (pun intended) last week in the face of a newcomer who had 1/3 of her financing and lost 4% to a fake Libertarian plant. This is the same woman with far more name recognition and who gave Rick Scott a tough race. Yet she lost in a district Obama won both times. Newsflash to conservatives: no Libertarian will EVER win any major election. So, concentrate on removing RINOs and purging the GOP of wimps like Boo Hoo, McConnell and Grahamnesty. All 3rd party plants do is divide the GOP vote. The last time our idiot voters tried to "teach the GOP a lesson" was Nov. 2012, didn't that work out great?! Had Sink won, you'd have the Obama media, Witch Debbie and the rest of the drones shouting 24/7 how Obamacare is still popular and they will run on it. Since she lost, they're in total damage control, spin and panic modes. I made it a point to check out the ACA plans and it would cost us more for less coverage, as well as our Drs. are not in the network. God, I hope they do run on it.
 But the worst part of this is the young & healthy ain't buying it, not at all. Obama's so desperate that he's gone from Richard Simmons to Pajama Boy to Lebron James to shill for his fiasco. I particularly love the many video segments of the Silver Witch (HHS Sec. Sebelius) blatantly lying about the fact she said "success looks like at least 7 million signed up", despite the videos of her interview that prove it. For sociopaths, blatant lies are SOP and resume enhancers, look how famous it made Bill Clinton. The only defense Obama has is to keep postponing more & more aspects of this NY garbage barge. Problem is, that only makes it fester more and smell worse, something Alex Sink just found out. It looks like even the dumbest Americans are not falling for "here's your brownie now, don't worry about when we make you eat your Brussels sprouts, that'll be much later". They realize stall tactics that expire right after the next 2 elections are a farce and will come with a very high price for those foolish enough to trust them. Losing his cred and the trust of even former Koolaid drinkers took way too long, but it's finally happening. Keep in mind, even the pitiful enrollment numbers are a farce, they have nothing to do with how many have paid. The other day, I got an email that perfectly sums up Obamacare:  " To insure the uninsured, first we make the insured uninsured. Then we make the formerly insured pay more to become re-insured, to enure the uninsured are insured for free". Churchill (Winston, not Wendy) was spot on when he said, "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, the gospel of envy. It's inherent virtue is the sharing of misery". That's probably why the USA has to build fences to keep people out, while communist countries build walls and machine gun towers to keep their people in.
 Any of you who follow today's big parade in Boston may know the mayors of NYC and Beantown boycotted the parade, out of solidarity for the organizers' not bowing to pressure by the LGBT activists to let them sully a family event with their agenda driven histrionics. OMG, I'm sure the folks enjoying the parade were really disappointed not to see 2 liberal mayors who preside over bankrupt, dysfunctional cities! The 1st amendment allows for peaceful assembly but isn't that what Gay Pride parades are for? Do any of you think the LGBT organizers would allow Catholics or St. Patrick's followers to walk in their parade? Neither do I. There were also 3 beers that pulled their support, Sam Adams, Guinness & Heineken. There's plenty of competition in the beer industry and Guinness tastes like roof tar water. These foolish companies should well remember that most beer drinkers are not zealots and boycotts work both ways. Just ask A&E network.

"America's Decline Into Socialism"

Happy New Year to all of you! I hope you had a nice Hanukkah and Christmas, as well as some time to relax with your families. Let's jump right in.
 I'll start with the total joke that is Obamacare. Notice the Dems suddenly ditched the moniker even Barry said he liked? Leatherface was lecturing some reporter the other day on the fact it's called ACA, despite the A & C being total lies, it's neither affordable nor does it provide any care. The more we see about this attack on the free marketplace and govt. seizure of most every aspect of our lives, the more even the dumbest Americans are waking up. The irony is delicious, the very groups meant to benefit from Obamacare and supportive of it, are the ones getting burned the most. That would be the poor and the young who voted for Obama in a big way. I don't feel sorry for either group, they will reap what they sowed. Last issue I mentioned the radioactive factor of Obamacare and his govt. run healthcare in LA. Sen. Mary Landrieu is gonna face the voters in Nov. and made sure she ran the hell away from Barry during his LA visit. NC's Kay Hagen did exactly the same thing a few days ago, I think it was a "family crisis" that involved her hair salon, LOL.

 I could go on and on about this but the bottom line is this: This abortion was bred by Dems and Dems, alone. It's the first major law in US history that was passed on a purely 1-party vote. They own it and they will be punished in 2014. When Nov. nears, I predict the number of Americans who've lost their coverage will exceed those who got ACA policies. The "if you like your Dr." lie was not just repeated endlessly by Obama. All the Dems who dutifully voted for it are also on video telling the same lie over and over, something their GOP opponents will run over and over in campaign ads. By then, the other shoe (employer mandate) will have dropped and even more Americans will be furious and seeking vengeance. What is now impossible to hide or deny is that this plan was never meant to work. It was designed to sabotage and destroy private insurance so people would be in a panic and demand single payer, what Obama promised SEIU he'd do back in 2007.
 The meltdown of the Middle East is being seen on a daily basis. It's clear we spent countless American blood and treasure to meddle in countries that hate us and prefer Sharia Law. Iraq is far worse off than before 2003 and Al Qaeda is taking it over, with the help of Iran. The Arab Spring is now a rotting boil of failure, needless US losses and discontent. Afghanistan, Barry's "good war", is no better off. Every time I see their leader, who looks like he's wearing a bedroom drape poncho and an organ grinder monkey's hat on his head, it makes me sick. Bob Gates' trashing of Obama in his recent book is a clear sign the top brass have no respect for this buffoon and his so called foreign policy. The same is true of the newly released documents re: Benghazi. They have exposed the fact Obama and his minions were immediately aware it was a terrorist attack and lied from day 1. The recent puff piece from the NYT was a transparently pathetic attempt to clear the deck for Hillary in 2016. It's not a huge issue but still hangs around. The NYT may be clinically dead in readership numbers but they'll never stop being Obama's #1 useful idiot. Gallup just polled the steadily increasing number of Americans who say they are $ worse off than last year, now at 42%. No problem, NYT did a piece on a "study" that concluded hard work and sacrifice can make you ill. That way the low info (moron) voter can say there's an upside to Obamanomics and the 92 million out of work.
 It seems the Left can't catch a break these days. No sooner had the ink dried on the NYT Hillary coverup, there was a bipartisan report that completely refuted their lies of a video causing the "spontaneous" attack.
The Christie issue is also exposing the Left's double standard and hypocrisy. They've jumped all over Crisco, as if he'd shot JFK, over a bridge lane tampering. I'm not suggesting the issue doesn't warrant investigation and severe consequences, if it's proven the Gov. was involved. I'm pointing out that this same, outraged over Crisco  media refuses to cover all the Obama scandals and either dismisses them or aids in the coverup. Last issue I told you the media love affair with Crisco would end abruptly, as soon as he was seen as a threat to Hillary. Let this recent vendetta and witch hunt be a warning to all Repubs who are so wimpy, insecure and needy that they think they can suck up to their opponents and win favor. Liberalism is not to be coddled, it is to be exposed, confronted and defeated!
The recent attempts to trash the film Lone Survivor are also backfiring. The Navy SEAL who the film is about (Marcus Luttrell) is nobody you wanna lie about or anger. He's been cracking heads (figuratively, of course) on TV when anyone tries it. The most unusual part of this is Mark Wahlberg, who played Luttrell, is by his side in some of these appearances. It's rare to see Hollywood defend our troops.
 Even the Duck Dynasty bugaboo got ugly and backfired on the Left. In the end A&E had to bend over and shut up. They realized they were put in a bind of either angering 5% of their viewers or 85%, duh! It's hilarious that a network with an artsy, frou frou name has to depend on a silly show about a redneck family that eats together and prays for their biggest $. DD isn't the only manly show on A & E, they also have Longmire and The Glades. Can you say market reality trumps liberal hypocrisy? Needless to say, this puts a fatal shot in Obama's dream of gun control, pun intended. There are more people in IL, aka Barryville, getting concealed weapon permits than signing up for Obamacare-  ouch!
 Amid all these setbacks, Obama is trying his usual tactics- talking endlessly about nothing. Even the bussed in, sycophant audiences are glassy-eyed and not buying it. He's even slipping up and blurting out very revealing truths, like his recent comments about having a pen to deal with a Congress that opposes him via executive order. It's Barry's way of saying "yeah, I'm a tyrant and do whatever the hell I want, just try and stop me!". I doubt the pathetic, spineless GOP will try to impeach him, even of they take back the Senate.
 There was an arrest in NYC of a 35 year old scumbag who attacked 7 elderly Jews in what's spun as the knockout game. No, it's  not just teenagers doing this. Holder & Co. don't wanna prosecute him as a hate crime offender. They only do that when it's white on black violence, a rare occasion. Allen West said it best. At some point one of these thugs will attack someone who carries a concealed weapon and that person will shoot and (hopefully) kill one of these feral animals. Then the media will suddenly care and we'll see poverty pimps like Jackson & Sharpton run out like they did with the Martin case.
 For me, the most disgusting aspect of the upcoming elections is how RINO cowards like McConnell, Boo Hoo (Boehner) and Grahamnesty are actively opposing their more conservative candidates. These feckless wimps are happy to remain a perpetual minority party, so long as they can keep their little perks and pensions. They are obsessed with acceptance from an opposition who despises and ridicules them. I sincerely hope this summer brings us many primary challenges and removes these clowns for good. Karl Rove, whom I'm also sick and tired of seeing and hearing, predicted none of the RINOs who get primary challenges will lose. Aside from the obvious benefit of removing these spineless impediments, it would be great to see Rove ridiculed and run outta the media town on a rail. He already made a fool of himself on election night 2012 when he refused to accept that it was over and Romney had lost big.
 On the dental legislation front, we have our usual slate of issues to deal with. It seems the Rafterdontists are back at it, trying to get lawmakers to support what I call the Cuban Dentist Adjustment Act of 2011 (now 2014). So far none of the Senators have wanted to touch it, but we must keep an eye on this issue. It also looks like the House will be our biggest impediment for our bills. I differ from the FDA position of keeping on in the same manner as the past 3 years. I recently learned that optometrists had to spend 10 years on an issue to prevail! That's their problem, they've become Costco and Wal Mart employees. We shouldn't have to spend 10 years to pass non-covered services legislation that 37 states already have. I think this year we need to ditch what so far has proven to be Einstein's def. of insanity and go from alternative to ultimatum.
 I'll close with the Mandela funeral. Boy did Barry get an eyeful and earful from Moochelle! The pictures of him and the leggy Danish blonde, as his 1st lady feels increasingly 2nd tier and shows it, are hysterical. In the last pics, he's forced to switch seats. "Obama Lied & Healthcare Died"

Hello to all, what an eventful last few weeks! You know it's gettin' bad when even loyal tools like Jon Stewart and SNL are ripping the Anointed One. His pathetic non-apology today, in front of Chuck You Todd, was more evidence of a smug, inept man child who's not used to being scrutinized or held accountable. He even slipped up (that's told the truth, for you Dems) and said "I got burned by a website" then quickly blurted out "The American people got burned by a website".  It's always all about him, isn't it? There's no question we have a lying sociopath that makes even Bill Clinton pale in comparison. I'll get to more detail on this later on.
 Last week was Advocacy Week at Nova and the student ADPAC leaders invited me to speak to their D1s during a lunch and learn. I showed them a PPTX (thank you, Elaine!) of the issues, how DDOH works, the accomplishments organized dentistry has procured over the years and what we're currently working on. The event was on Halloween Day, very fitting to pick that day to invite the likes of me. The kids were great and very interested. I was impressed by the student leaders who organized the event. They are engaged, know the issues and have a passion for their profession that we could use in the FDA. Needless to say, this was a complete 180 from the boycott (ACD Ethics Workshop) Nova extended me earlier this year. Proof positive why we must never back down! Nova's College of Dentistry is under new management and we shall soon see what changes, if any, will be implemented by the new dean. Now let's tackle Obamacare.
 Never mind the spiel and promises, it was all a lie, like most of Obama's rhetoric. Here's my translation of his bullet points, complements of my patented BS decoder. "If you like your insurance you can keep it, period, end of story" is really "If WE like your ins. you can keep it but it's gonna be our call, not yours, period, end of story".  "The website will be operational on Oct. 1" is really "The website is a rigged piece of crap, purposely designed to fail so you can't log on and see how much higher your premiums will be, for how much less coverage and benefits". "Americans will be able to browse the site and choose a plan that best suits their needs" is really "We'll take all your private personal info and only then can you look at plans that force your grandma to have Viagra coverage and your husband to have maternity". Ironic but not surprising, is the fact Obamacare was sold as a vehicle to give ins. to those who were uninsured. It's not doing that at all but it is taking ins. away from those who had it. It's like tearing a huge gash in your radiator and trying to refill it with an eye dropper.  There are already some political stress cracks in Obama's cement-faced deception. 16 Sen. Dems, 15 of whom are up for reelection next year, are already in a panic and went to the WH to cry for help. What they will find is Obama doesn't give a rat's rear what happens to them in 2014. He's built a reputation for throwing anyone under the bus once he's used them, and this will be the same end result. The early returns are not good. While a pathetic 6 people signed up the first day and the next few days have been little better, 4.2 million Americans have already gotten booted by their ins. carriers. McDonald's can't serve junk food this fast!
 I love the way the koolaid drinkers are still clinging to their delusion and hubris. As always, they'll sooner cut their jugular than admit that their "wait and see" chatter is over and we're waiting but not seeing squat. And I'm not talking about losers, the permanently indolent or others who have no product, I expect that from the dead end crowd. I mean educated people who work hard and pay taxes. There's an "educated"  couple in SF who just got burned on a decent, affordable policy with Kaiser but swear they still like and support Obama. Couples are getting divorced to apply as "single". I wonder how the gay community will handle this? Their single issue of total devotion and advocacy is "gay marriage". How will their zeal to get hitched hold up against the advantages of applying as single? Ah, those unintended consequences. I've seen the same irrational delusion from some of my FB pals.  How about that GOP? My God, they're a total joke! Anyone who actually gives $ to the RNC needs to be admitted, via Baker Act, to the nearest padded room. This Tuesday was a major blown opportunity to kick the Dems in the groin by electing a real conservative as Gov. of VA. Terry McAuliffe is about as charismatic as a mohel in a room full of Arab toddlers. Ken Cuccinelli was 30+% down in the polls, after months of being outspent 10 to 1 and an endless barrage of attack ads. The GOP gave him a pitiful $3 million, they gave Bob McDonald $9 million when he ran for VA Gov. Despite all of that, Cuccinelli lost by only 2%! Why? Obamacare, it stinks worse than the infamous NY Garbage Barge. It's likely that the shutdown cost the GOP  votes in a state next door to dysfunctional DC, full of govt. employees. A conservative black minister for a running mate sounds good. But not if he loudly attacks gays and abortion. That egg was laid by Cuccinelli alone. Nevertheless, had the GOP supported him, those deficits could have been overcome. It's clear the GOP Establishment is ashamed of its base and we're headed for a civil war. I predict a major RINO hunt next summer and many of the old guard RINOs may be gone after tough primary opponents. In red states, we won't see the AK debacle where Lisa Murkowski came back and beat Joe Miller, the guy who beat her in the primary. Moron shoulda shaved! In red states, whoever knocks off McConnell, Grahamnesty or Boo Hoo Boehner will win it all. Notice Graham is beating his canary chest about holding up any Obama nominees until a serious Benghazi investigation is held? It's nothing but posturing by a RINO who knows he's in the cross hairs.
 Even Chris Christie's landslide win was a fix. He was opposed by a weak, unknown lady with little or no $ support. This was in exchange for giving VA to the Dems, he never went there to help Cuccinelli. But Crisco will have to be content to stay as Gov. of NJ.  Exit polls on his triumphal night also include the sobering reality that NJ voters elected him but will support Hillary over him in 2016. That means he'd join the dubious club of Al Gore and Mitt Romney, guys who couldn't even carry their home state. RINOs forget that in a blue state they are always paper to the Dem's scissors.   As it becomes painfully obvious that Obama is radioactive, we'll see more and more politicians who are up in 2014 saying or doing anything to avoid being on the same podium with him. Mary Landrieu (D-LA) is 1 of the nervous 15 and made sure she had a very important "prior engagement" 220 miles from where Obama will be when he comes to New Orleans. That way, not even Obama's outdated Blackberry will pick her up.
The accomplice media is also starting to grow weary and realize they're Obama's stooges. One thing I've noticed is they just rip the disastrous website, as if we're so stupid to think the biggest problem is that site. Oh, wait, many of us ARE that stupid! The reality is the website is a political check mate for Obama & the Dems. The longer it stays down, the bigger joke it and its namesake become, even if it keeps the public from seeing what degree of damage awaits their wallets. At some point it has to be fixed, though that could take months. But if and when they do finally fix it, then we're really gonna see the SHTF. Then it won't be a  trickle, it'll be millions of Americans who see the true cost of Barry's signature "affordable healthcare". Americans may not care about things like Benghazi, IRS or NSA- unless it directly affected them. But the very "I want mine!" type of selfishness that got Obama reelected will be a double edge sword when these single issue laggards don't "get theirs". Even the younguns who turned out in record numbers are seeing their "young & healthy" rates go up 2-4X, ouch! The 16% unemployment rate they have is salt in the wound. Without these younger Americans buying that overpriced coverage, the program will implode. I already see what looks like a massive case of nationwide civil disobedience and His Majesty's own royal loyal guard is running for the drawbridge.
 I will close with a little quiz you can throw at any liberal who tries to backpedal or otherwise defend this disgrace of a law.  It's only 2 questions:
1) If you bought any electronic gadget, car, home security system, etc. that wouldn't work; then, when you tried to log on or call the company, you got an error message or were told "it's a glitch, be patient", would you excuse and accept that?
2) Let's dispense with analogies. If you bought private medical ins. and were unable to verify benefits, contact the carrier by phone or online or get any practitioner to accept it, would you be ok with that and keep paying for the policy?
 I posted my quiz on my FB page and not one lib would touch it. All they could do was lob insults. The latest tactic, a hallmark of the desperate left, is to call anyone who opposes Obamacare either obstructionist or a racist. Do not back down or let these zealots define you. Stay strong and press on! If you need any more ammo, use this. This law is already costing twice what was originally stated and repeated warnings the site would crash were ignored. If this is the total dysfunction and dishonesty of what is only the opening step of the mess, how can we trust a govt. that can't even run a website to control our healthcare? How many of you think your pts. would hang around if in the first appt. of a big treatment plan you told them it would cost twice the amount and you had no idea when they could book their next appt.?

Hello to all of you!  It looked like Miami had finally gotten some football to match our hoops prowess, or at least resemble it. Then the Dolphins played a top shelf team and reminded us who they really are, LOL Granted, UM's improved but it's been beating up on minnows the last 2 weeks, though they did feast on Gator tail before that :-). We shall see how it all shakes out this fall. So, dead or alive?
 Remember when the Obama regime was spiking the ball, right after the successful Bin Laden raid? Bite Me boasted that GM was alive and Bin Laden was dead. As usual, Bite Me's IQ and thought process are about as original today as when he dropped out of the 1988 WH sweepstakes for plagiarism. Since those stupid remarks, we've had Benghazi, Boston and now the Nairobi mall. Imagine Elliot Ness saying "organized crime is dead" when Capone was busted? Yes, UBL was deservedly whacked but Al Qaeda is far from dead and Muslim Brotherhood is booming. No matter how  isolationist we Americans become, it's already in our house. It's not just Boston, there are dozens of "peaceful Muslim outreach" groups that have operated in the USA since the 1960s. They were founded mostly by the Muslim Brotherhood, under different names. It reminds me of my first job in Winn Dixie, as a produce clerk. Who knew Cubans could eat green vegetables and teach their abulea how to cook them? Winn Dixie had various brands they produced, like Dixie Darling, Superbrand and Chek. It's the same trick the radical Islamic terror front groups use. But they sell death and sharia to a low info populace. I was hearing an author (former FBI) who's an expert on this subject and used to give training seminars to govt. honchos from the various divisions on the threat posed by these Islamic entities. At the end of one event, he asked how many of the 115 in  attendance knew any of the info he'd shared before coming to the talk? Not one had a clue! Notice I said "used to give"? That's because these seminars are no longer given to our govt. entities, thank you Butch Napolitano. But it's unlikely Big Sis would do anything without having first received marching orders from our Muslin-in-Chief.
 The problem is not Al Qaeda or any other group, it's Islam. There's no such thing as a moderate Muslim, or being a little pregnant. Have any of you ever seen candlelight vigils or massive protests by the mods against radical terror? That because the so called "moderates" are simply too weak to commit heinous acts which they know their radical brethren will carry out. Sure, sometimes they'll appear on TV and make the obligatory declarations of outrage or some other feigned disapproval. But it's all for show. Even in cases where a decent Muslim is truly outraged, there's little or nothing they can do, especially when they receive death threats for coddling infidels. Just saw the season opener for Homeland. Last season ended with a massive explosion that wiped out our CIA bldg. in Langley. Many, myself  included, said "it's ridiculous, they'd never pull off that level of attack again". Then, a few months later, 2 Chechnyan brothers paralyzed the city of Boston with 2 backpacks containing pressure cooker bombs. The Syria debacle is yet another example of our lightweight Pres. in over his head. He drew the red line right before denying he did so. Let's see, who does that remind me of? Can there be a more hilarious Sec. of State than Lurch (John Kerry)? This is a guy who's made a living from marrying rich women and famously moored his luxury yacht in RI to avoid Taxachusetts rates. For those of you unfamiliar with who Lurch is, google the original 1960s sitcom, the Addams Family. You know it's comedy time when shirtless Vladimir Putin looks more statesmanlike and exhibits more astute leadership than a U.S. Pres.
 How about Mr. Cruz going to Washington? The immediate savaging he's getting tells me he touched a nerve and stepped on more than a few egos. What's worse, much of it is from his own party! Much as I've ripped it, I think the effect of the GOP base sitting out the 2008 and 2012 elections might finally be paying off. It seems like the GOP may finally be grooming and real conservative and not a disgrace like McCain or Ken Doll moderate like Romney. But the establishment RINO faction, content to lose election after election, will lash out as badly as the Dems will. I think Cruz was out to accomplish 2 goals, wake up the distracted American voters to the disaster called Obamacare and throw down the alpha male gauntlet to kick off his 2016 WH run. Rubio left his lunch out when he went pro-amnesty and Cruz just ate it.
 Speaking of tyrannical govt. usurpation of healthcare, it looks like the buyer's remorse is bubbling over before it even commences. Whether it's the fact most peoples' premiums will increase, the massive job losses, hacker-prone database or almost universal lack of comprehension of how to work the system this thing is a genuine dog's breakfast. It makes me sick how the GOP establishment are too cowardly to say much or attack Obama for giving rise to this abortion. The other day I heard Rep. Peter King ripping into Ted Cruz and my thought was, has this clown ever spoken that way about this real political enemies? I'm referring to the party that imposed this ACA suppository on the nation and openly seeks to destroy the GOP. Any politician who runs on a promise to his voters and the nation, then runs for cover and prefers to make nice so they'll get invited to all the chi chi cocktails and not criticized by the press, richly deserves to be primaried and removed. I'm picking on King, who reminds me of The Butcher in Magic City, but there are many in this spineless GOP club.
 The left has had it tough the last few weeks, no arena is safe. Not only are gun manufacturers leaving states that pass prohibitive anti-gun laws, there were 2 uber lib CO Sen. Dems recalled in CO recently. One was the CO Sen. Pres., I love it! This is what happens when the left messes with the 2nd amendment, Americans
who don't wanna be Euro style sheep to the slaughter and (most importantly) the NRA. Tony Blair's daughter and her BF were robbed at gunpoint in "gun free" London. It's hilarious, since they weren't hurt, and shows what a farce gun control is. If you omit Newark, Chicago and NYC, the US murder rate is roughly that of Belgium, never confused for Dodge City, to my knowledge. States run by the GOP are in far better shape than states in bankruptcy, i.e. blue states. And that's even taking into account the profligate spending of even the GOP. "Gun free" cities are far more dangerous and have higher shootings and homicides. The latest Navy Yard terrorist shooting, which Obama will call "workplace violence", is a classic example of our govt.'s inability to protect themselves, let alone us. The anti-gun  nuts shout "background checks!" but this monster had more checks than an old hooker in a govt. VD clinic. Given his arrests and mental health record, how was he granted the type of clearance and access to commit these atrocities? BTW, we can thank B.J. Clinton for disarming our military bases but Bush had 6 years of uncontested power and did nothing about it.
 Now for the shutdown, we either shut down the govt. or let Obamacare shut down the nation. As the shutdown looms big, I'm predicting it'll have the same non-effect on the GOP as sequestration. When I asked the Asst. Sec. of HHS why they'd given 1,200+ waivers back in May of 2011, he had no answer. Why are politicians not on Obamacare? Same reason. I can see the govt. employees, welfare moochers and other libs getting upset, but they vote Dem, anyway. As for those who whine about getting late paychecks, puleez, cry me a river! We dentists put up with payment delays all the time, they need to get over it. You think Obama would ever be worried about our plight? Of course not, we're small businesses and he's targeted us for termination. I love how the old WWII vets knocked down the barriers to their beautiful WWII Memorial because Obama specifically chose to close that one down. It's very telling to see older, can do, self reliant heroes crash through the ridiculous obstacles laid down by the obstructionist, no budget Obama. Don't think this mess is only one-sided. The thought of having to vote how Dingy Harry orders them to, has made for some very nervous Senate Dems who are up for election in 2014. We'll see if I'm right.

"America's Racial, Economic & Societal Meltdown"

Let's start with race, we all know that justice for Zimmerman was served. If you put anyone who takes stupid, ill advised actions in jail, we'd have to build triple the current number. I said justice for Zimmerman because Trayvon got his justice when he made the mistake of jumping and beating on a wimpy, shorter, chubby dude who just happened to be packing. BTW, Zimmerman is not a white Hispanic. If you really wanna know what a white Hispanic looks like, try Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz or yours truly.

 This case has opened all varieties of cans of worms that the over reaching, race hustling,  poverty pimps had never counted on. I'll give you a few.
 All the predictions of mass rioting were actually a few isolated cases, horrific nonetheless, but not the mass chaos Obama & Co. wanted to justify calling out the Natl. Guard, martial law and suspending our Constitution. Nevertheless, all of you who go out and about need to be careful for the bitter clingers from the hood. This recent case is a stark reminder of what happens in gun control states to those who don't pack.

The race industry also found out they went too far and people are fed up with cowering in fear, white guilt and the blatant lie that it's somehow our fault the "oppressed" permanent underclass languishes in the dumpster. We now know that in the 505 days between the Martin shooting and the Zimmerman verdict, 11,000+ blacks were killed (in the US) by other blacks. Can the poverty pimps name a single one??? That's because Tawana is finally (after 25 years) paying damages to the man she falsely accused of orchestrating the non-existent gang rape she claimed to have suffered. A 25 year grace period, damn, that's what I call affirmative action! This farce has stirred up other woeful stats the CBC would rather you didn't know, like 73% illegitimacy, tenfold probability to commit violent crime than whites and sky high illiteracy among blacks.  We've also learned what a pot smoking, Lean addict thug the real Trayvon was, vs. those cute 12 year old pics used by the left. When forensics show liver damage (from habitual drug use) in a 17 year old, that's no angel. Martin's own Tweets bear out his real goal in life, to be a full fledged "bad mo fo". Terrible, how such a promising career was cut short. But let's remember that the Jacksons, Sharptons and Frederica Wilsons of this nation have no product and will continue to play the only game they know. These race baiting clowns want us all to forget the historic fact that the black nuclear family somehow managed to survive slavery, the KKK and Jim Crow but is collapsing under 50 years of Great Society and War on Poverty. Aside from advancing the PC racial narrative and intimidating hard working tax paying Americans, let's look at why this lengthy distraction was prolonged even further.
 Obamacare is loathed by 3/4 of Americans. The rats fleeing this ship include the very Congress who shoved it down our collective throats, the IRS and even the Teamsters, to name but a few in a fast growing category of remorseful buyers. Barry had to postpone it for employers- not the people, of course, we don't matter. We still have 9 million jobs lost since The Anointed One was first immaculated, and many are never coming back. Most of the heralded "new jobs" reported are part time burger flipping jobs. Employers are reacting, as the real world marketplace must always do, to the disastrous policies enacted by our clueless govt. The very younguns who are supposed to sign up and pay for this train wreck are opting for the penalty. Can you blame them? They're still living with mom & pop, can't get a job or pay rent. The age 26 limit for hiding under mommy's insurance skirts may need to be raised to 45, OMG. Gas is still twice the 2009 price but the media won't report it and the slackers don't drive cars anyway, so they don't care. Canadian oil will likely be going to some other country but not us, it's part of Obama's big "fairness plan", more on that later. All of these impediments have their consequences, our GDP is less than what it was under Bush, whose economic numbers were constantly attacked and talked down by the press.

Unemployment is ~14%, if you really count all who don't wanna even look for work. These are the record number (47%!) on food stamps and disability. If they're eating, have AC, an Obama phone and cable, why should they bother working? Most of us would never settle for that because we have shame, but shame is not PC and poo pooed as judgemental by the left. There's a concerted effort by those in govt. to make us a minority, and they're pretty damn close. Remember, this is the Pres. who openly declared he was writing off white, working class voters. America's domestic woes are no less embarrassing than our international ones.
 The Arab Spring continues to burn intensely as Obama's tool, Morsi, was removed and we're letting Al Qaeda bark out the marching orders as to which embassies to shut down and when. Obama's Fast & Furious failures are not limited to the Mexican border. The current Al Qaeda uprising is fueled by the US arming the wrong factions over there. Remember, this is a regime who believes the only people who should be disarmed are honest, hard working,  law abiding Americans. It now seems the reason for the wimpy response to the Benghazi raid, aside from Obama's facade of a defeated Al Qaeda being exposed, is that 400 surface-to-air missiles were stolen from the annex. Needless to say, these are the type that can shoot down airliners. Anyone who thinks Benghazi is a phony scandal overlooks the fact the only thing phony in DC is Obama. Those spineless apologies for America to Arabs, by the biggest mistake we've ever elected ,  have borne only bitter fruit.
 If you read political cartoons from foreign sources, you see Obama portrayed as the inept, elephant eared buffoon he truly is. I never cease to be amazed how many libs still defend him and his abject failures. You'd cut your carotid before you'd admit it's a farce and the nation is screwed. Obama's standing with the commies is also in the gulag. When he promised "more flexibility" into that open mic, Putin read that to mean "bend over and grab the ankles" Vlad not only slapped Obama's face by giving Eddy Snowjob asylum, he's even tripled the cost per astronaut (since 2006) to shuttle our spacemen to the I.S.S., aka Space Stn,. Lenin. I tell ya, Rodney Dangerfield got more respect on his worst night. Obama's tactic of calling Benghazi, IRS Gate and NSA gate phony scandals has also backfired.
 Yes, we are being spied on 24/7! Yes, the USPS takes photos of every piece of mail they handle. Yes, the traffic cams store everything and they're building a monster facility in UT to warehouse it all. Robin would tell Batman,"holy mother or terabytes!" If this encroachment of our privacy continues, Americans may soon be practicing a new sport, shooting down govt. drones. It's definitely a target rich environment, out there.

If the Dem party weren't composed of such lazy rabble and the successful, white guilt afflicted softies who fear them, we could form a 3rd party and really fix this nation. The GOP certainly has its own, well deserved civil war and may have an internal bloodbath by 2014.  But the Dems run a tight ship of the permanent underclass that's been trained to beg and the PC plantation owners who enslave them but dress it up as compassion and tell themselves they're only righting past wrongs and creating diversity. These career bureaucrats and champions of so called "opportunity" fear a successful, self reliant America, they'd be out of a job. Remember, no matter who's in the WH or control of the legislative branch, govt. has consistently grown while our rights and $ have shrunk. Until we right the USS America, we're on a fast track to Frenchdom.
 I'll end with Obama's "fairness plan", which is about as fair as the ACA is affordable. Obama has always hated America, blames it for most of what ails the world and loves to take us down a few notches. Community organizer is his first love and true calling. He was raised by a bitter, anti-American communist mother, Frank Marshall Davis and an anti-colonialist Kenyan sperm donor "dad". What Obama hates the most about this great nation is what made it great-our freedoms and ability to buck the socialist cocoon model where the easily controlled populace packs into cramped, concrete jail, urban centers and depends on govt. for everything, especially transport. But these dream cities are the most dysfunctional in real world application. Chicago, NYC, L.A. are perfect examples. Detroit is the end result of Dem rule and liberal programs that have run their course. Hiroshima and Nagasaki are now beautiful, vibrant cities, while Detroit looks like they did on Aug. 6 & 9, 1945. This is why he wrote off middle class voters, wants us to drive Chevy Volts (that don't sell) and not be able to defend ourselves against marauding hordes of Obama voters who live off of us but still wanna take more from us. He deeply resents the fact we leave the crappy neighborhoods because we can. And we can because we sacrifice and work our butts off! How many of you in Miami send your kids to public schools? I rest my case, you're willing to be double dipped because you want the best for them. Black parents in DC did, too, but Obama killed their school choice vouchers. He knew these folks would still turn out for him, because the GOP is racist, right? HUD is currently working out strategies to socially engineer our communities to allow the very element you moved away from and want nowhere near you and your families to be able to move right next door. Look at this video from our own state if you doubt me. These incidents will only increase.
