"Mob Rule- America Under Siege!"

Hello, my friends, never a dull moment, is there? What we're seeing is a new version of the civil war I wrote about in my last issue. The rule of law doesn't mean crap and the mobs are making the rules and dictating terms. None of this is new, anyone who lived in Miami in the 1980s can remember the Arthur McDuffie killing and attempted cover up, which plunged Miami into 3 days of rioting and all that comes afterwards, following a very unjust not guilty verdict for the 4 rogue cops who did it.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1980_Miami_riots#:~:text=McDuffie%2C%20a%20black%20salesman%20and,evidence%20tampering%2C%20among%20other%20charges.
The same can be said for the L.A. riots, touched off by a ridiculous acquittal in the Rodney King beatings, although King survived the beating by 4 cops. These cases all have a common initiator, which I'll cover, as well as the other factors that have only gotten worse with social media and the prevalence of citizens' ability to record such abuses. I'll take the process in sequence.
The first factor, without which these crises could not begin, is police brutality and excessive use of force. I have friends who are military vets and they tell me police officers often lack the proper training and basic ability to discern the level of a situation and apply the proper level of intervention, something that's inherent in military training. If the situation is a 5, you apply a 6 or 7 to resolve it, not a 9 or 10. The recent Floyd case was a 4 and the overzealous cop used a 10, I think a suspect who was already cuffed and prostrate but died of asphyxiation, rates a 10! We have a nationwide problem with police who are woefully deficient in the use of deadly force, often the result of minimal firearms training and quantity of ammo to get the needed repetition. Couple that with minimal stress fire drills and real life crisis handling, and you get cops who stand outside a school while 17 people are gunned down, as was the case in the Parkland M.S.D. High School massacre. Then the flip side is that when they have a suspect under control and no longer a threat, they go way overboard, with tragic results.
Next, we have the issue of bad cops who are never disciplined, let alone fired, despite multiple complaints. Can any of you imagine a dentist with 18 complaints facing no sanctions of any kind?!
https://www.foxcarolina.com/news/the-minneapolis-police-officer-who-knelt-on-george-floyds-neck-had-18-previous-complaints-against/article_0dcf6220-a186-11ea-b0d7-eb3a51f2a7d8.html
This is a product of the blue wall, code of silence, that exists among cops. Many officers feel it's them against the world and they'll cover for their corrupt colleagues, no matter what. Others may feel the outrage any sane person should, but they fear retribution from their fellow officers who call internal affairs the rat squad and any officer who turns in a bad cop, a rat. This issue is a long standing problem and it's not getting any better or showing any signs of going away. The power that police unions have to for stopping any investigation or disciplinary consequences is far too much. Until the leadership of our law enforcement and unions get their act together and create a force that does good, respects life and has the ability to ferret out and remove bad actors, these incidents will continue, as will the anarchy and mayhem that will quickly follow. If these top brass don't have the will to do what needs to be done, it will have to be done for them.
The other key component of this issue is the various groups who are always waiting for any incident to use as an excuse to act out in the most callous, violent and destructive way possible. Whether it's Antifa, BLM or any local mobs who form up and hit the streets. This vermin has no interest in resolving anything, they certainly never act out when minorities kill each other in the inner cities on a regular basis. They are domestic terrorists, who have have zero difficulty beating innocent people, looting merchandise, destroying property or setting fires to cars, buildings, businesses, etc. If you doubt me, watch this video and tell me these animals are grieving anyone's death.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFDVdiLpPds
This young man has a very good take on this "protest" sham and is clearly not worried about PC.

I know some of you may tell me my comparison of how minorities gun each other down by the dozen every week and it's ignored by the race industry, is apples to oranges, because this was a white cop killing a black man. Okay, let's recall the flip side of this, a black cop killing a white woman with ZERO rap sheet or past offenses of any kind. It even took place in the same city. Yes, this pig was sentenced to a lesser crime and prison, but there was never any 24/7 media hysteria, riots, looting, beatings, road blockages or arson by hordes of angry whites in Minneapolis, let alone all across the entire nation.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_of_Justine_Damond
The rioters also feel entitled to block city streets and elevated highways, sometimes with tragic results. I'm sure they're convinced that beating people senseless, smashing property, or getting themselves "free" s**t will prevent any and all future police abuses or other violence, right? The 1A gives us all the right to peaceful protest, but not infringing on the rights of others. The tanker truck driver who drove into a mob in MN, stopped and was taken out of the cab and beaten badly, the idiot shouldn't have stopped.
https://www.cbsnews.com/video/semi-truck-apparently-tries-to-drive-through-crowd-of-protesters-on-minneapolis-interstate/
So, now it's legal for a mob to block a highway, but illegal for a driver to drive through, WTH?! If police didn't want this type of confrontation, they should have closed those highways. This is a product of law enforcement fecklessness, as penitence for the sins their rogue cops commit, and we all pay the price. We also saw this propitiation in many cities where cops stood by as mobs wreaked havoc on businesses and cars, but did nothing to stop them. There's gonna come a time when someone is unwilling to be a lamb for the slaughter and they will fight back, especially in cities where lawful firearm owners live. The trucker was arrested, nothing happened to the mob who beat him. I have to wonder what will happen to anyone who defends themselves, while cops stand by and watch? My guess is they'll arrest lawful people who defend themselves, but not looters and thugs, especially in blue states. Police had better be damned careful about who they alienate. The vermin and thug element hate their guts, they always have and always will. If they wrong target those of us who respect and support law enforcement, they're gonna find themselves being pariahs on both sides of society. And please, don't anyone tell me these riots are spontaneous, they are organized and many who commit the acts are coming in from outside the cites they target. U-Hauls pulling up to load stolen goods are nothing but intentional.
https://www.cnn.com/us/live-news/george-floyd-protests-05-31-20/h_9e7c8706125c1452984d2e758e13f594
The selective outrages and hypocrisy are legion, it's illegal to reopen a business in blue states but perfectly okay to trash and burn one down! Notice no media outlet will call the rioters what they are, using the term "protesters" to spin the truth. What about social distancing? That went to hell from the moment these riots began. I don't see any rioters getting arrested for violating the 6-foot rule. The scum who are committing these acts of domestic terror are being groomed in our indoctrination centers, aka high schools and colleges. They are unemployable, dead end losers, a pathetic state to be in for a person in their 20s.
Lastly, the political aspect of all of this. The Left's mantra is no crisis should go to waste and they're milking the hell out of this one. I hope the cop who killed George Floyd is convicted and spends the rest of his life in prison. The other cops who stood by and did nothing must also pay a price. I also don't believe any of that will assuage the mob, they exist in a state of perma pissed and will never be satisfied with any real justice or capitulation offered up by the system. All of this is no doubt infuriating to fair minded Americans, which is a good thing. What remains to be seen is if voters will take out their rage on the liberal apologists who run their cities? Notice the worst damage is in blue state big cities, that's no accident. Aren't these the folks who've been promising minorities a better quality of life for 50 years? The same accomplice media that's covering for these rioting anarchists, is also the one that's always covered up the fact it's the Dem party that gave us slavery, the KKK and Jim Crow. Make no mistake, this will be Alinsky 101, blame your enemies for what you're doing. The very same left who organized, enabled and coddled this domestic terrorist scum will turn around and blame Trump for all of it, especially if he doesn't crack down hard on the perpetrators.
I don't think the timing of this is any coincidence, either. We were emerging pretty well from the Covid-19 hysteria and the blue state governors who've been keeping their states closed down were coming under increasing scrutiny and criticism, as their agenda of damaging their states' economies to hurt the nation and Trump became more and more obvious. It's already bad enough, the hit our national economy has taken, only to be hit again with a new excuse to shut things down even longer. This is organized and well funded by the anti-American left and it includes ordering cops to stand down amid the destruction, as well as not activating the Natl. Guard. Trump has the power to do it and the time for deferring to his do-nothing enemies is long since over. If they won't do their jobs, Trump needs to do it for them, it's a win-win for their states and the nation. Let the appeasers appease, we need to act now! In closing, I sincerely hope all of you stay safe and that your practices are not affected by this criminal activity. Be careful driving around and protect yourselves at all times, don't count on police to do it for you.

"Questions, Answers & Let Them Eat Ice Cream!"

Hello, my friends, it's been 6 weeks since my last post. I'm sure you're all enjoying this unprecedented take down of our nation, economy, sanity, and way of life as much as I am. This has been uncharted territory from the very beginning and it shows no sign of being any different. We're still waiting in long lines for basic things like groceries and dry goods. We still can't find things that were once ridiculously ubiquitous, like Kleenex, toilet paper, rubbing alcohol and Clorox wipes. We went to Costco today and did find Kleenex, and plenty of paper towels, hence I concluded that millions of beleaguered Americans are definitely NOT wiping down there with paper towels. I also need to mention that those things we did find were only available by going from 8-9 a.m., senior hour. Once they opened at 9 to the general public, those items were long gone. There's also a decided disadvantage to our profession right now, when it comes to PPEs and disinfectants. More on that later. So, let's get to the questions, shall we?

1) Why did a virus that decimated the Wuhan province not touch its neighboring cities?
2) Why should we treat the entire USA likes it's NYC?
3) If the Montana-Wyoming land mass had the highest numbers of Covid 19 deaths, would the NY-NJ land mass shut down their states and entire economies?
4) Why must we have a lock down that amounts to house arrest, but it's okay for many to go outside?
5) Why do we have panic hucksters like Little Anthony & the Scarf Queen, determining our lives, when EVERY DAMN model they've used for their recommendations has been DEAD WRONG?
6) How much longer does Big Brother expect the people of America to kowtow to a loss of basic liberties, guaranteed by our Constitution, that they've usurped by sowing fear and uncertainty?
7) How much longer will we the people, put up with this before mass civil disobedience ensues?
8) How long can the Left get away with holding small businesses hostage for PPP aid and not pay a price in Nov.?
9) When will Trump stop with the ridiculous dog & pony shows and put the agenda driven, bureaucratic, medical mouthpieces in their place?
10) why are accredited medical and research experts who take a common sense approach to the guidelines and offer differing advice get blocked from media and the internet?
Here are some answers I can think of, some I simply don't know and can only speculate.

1) I've seen articles where the WHO reports that it's not true, there were many cases in other Chinese cities. Problem is, the WHO cannot be trusted or believed, they are the healthcare equivalent of the U.N. when it comes to anti-American sentiments and being run by a communist sympathizer.
https://www.nationalreview.com/2020/04/coronavirus-china-world-health-organization-chinese-communist-party/
If there actually was a successful campaign to corral the virus, this might be part of the reason why.
https://www.npr.org/sections/goatsandsoda/2020/02/21/806958341/restrictions-and-rewards-how-china-is-locking-down-half-a-billion-citizens
2) There's no good reason to shut down the nation, none of which has the Corona infection and death numbers of NYC! That's what living in a giant lasagna of sardine-packed people will get you.
3) NFW Cuomo et al would shut down NY-NJ, they'd say screw those gun nut hicks in fly over country!
4) Because most of these "solutions" are pie in the sky, made up placebos of inconsistency. This lady says it far better than I could.
https://www.facebook.com/Kasey.Lewis12890/videos/10157784004845804/
5) Because they're govt. bureaucrats and Trump made the mistake of giving them way too much cred and face time, both of which they quickly got addicted to. Every model and set of numbers these 2 have peddled have been way too high, adjusted down, and they've faced no blow back.
6) As long as they think they can keep getting away with it, If we don't push back nothing will change. These folks all have some things in common that we don't. Their paychecks are coming in regularly and they don't need to worry about providing for staff, serving the needs of patients or running a business.
7) Hopefully not too much longer! We're seeing cracks already in the concrete wall of control the govt. has been forcing on everyday Americans. Even blue states are waking up. You know folks are getting fed up when even states like WA, chock full of Commie soy boys who squat to pee are protesting Big Brother.
https://www.kgw.com/article/news/health/coronavirus/people-plan-to-gather-in-olympia-sunday-to-protest-gov-inslees-stay-at-home-order/281-d7920d24-f6b8-4b75-b63d-27bd8b605d0b
8) We'll find out this Nov. Anyone with basic knowledge of politicians knows they NEVER do anything they don't think they can get away with. The Dems know most small business owners are self reliant and don't vote for them. Therefore, they think they can screw us over, even hoping to pay off our employees with endless unemployment checks, in an effort to divide them from us. Nothing like that is sustainable and I think it will fail. I can assure you my employees know full well who's holding their aid hostage and they're not too happy about it.
9) It looks like Trump is beginning to pivot from making every day the Little Anthony & Scarf Queen Hour. It went on far too long and he needs to start doubling down on the message to reopen America. Our own Gov. De Santis has been too lackadaisical in his message and actions to restore normalcy. Considering he barely beat a failed former Tallahassee mayor and meth head, tells you how screwed up FL is and why I predicted years ago we're the next Mexifornia. If Ronny doesn't get this state back on track soon, he's gonna be a 1-term Gov.
https://www.politico.com/news/2020/04/22/andrew-gillum-hotel-room-photos-911-audio-201624
10) Anyone, regardless of their qualifications or how correct their dissenting info is, will get censored if they speak out against Big Brother, which includes all social media outlets. We are in a civil war, my friends, and info is a crucial component of war. Censorship is rampant in America.
https://www.theamericanconservative.com/dreher/why-did-youtube-remove-the-doctors-briefing/

I want to touch on the topic of why our dental profession has been cast down to such a 3rd class category, when it comes to PPEs and basic surface disinfectants. It comes down to clout and please don't tell me clout isn't a big factor, when the L.A. Lakers got $4 million in PPP aid and we can't get jack squat! The same goes for big chains, our ADA advocacy is small taters by comparison.
 https://www.cnbc.com/2020/04/20/shake-shack-ceo-says-chain-has-ensured-long-term-stability-after-returning-10-million-ppp-loan.html
I don't contend that dentists are doing what the front line medical people are doing, but we do treat patients and we can be exposed if not properly protected, the same goes for our practices and the areas patients occupy. Our dental suppliers are just as frustrated and unable to get us the things we need. The constant ADA briefings are also useless. We don't need to be told we're not getting supplies and PPP funds, we already know that.
I'm gonna close with a textbook example of hypocrisy and a total disregard for what most Americans are going through. For those who may be naive enough (or blinded by ideology) to still believe the Dems are the party of the little guy and genuinely care for people, I give you Nancy's freezer.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgfumenJbXE

"Chicom Revenge & One-Party Gridlock Returns"

Hello, everyone, I hope you're all hanging in there and tuning out the hype. Not gonna be much of a St. Paddy's this year, obviously. Yes, the Covid 19 crisis is very real, but the hype being generated by the same media that filed H1N1 with a yawn in 2009, is totally agenda driven and designed to take out Trump, by destroying the economy his policies made so strong. The never Trumpers and liberals will poo poo what I'm asserting, of course. I ask them this, did we have mass panic, people emptying the shelves of stores hoarding all sorts of items, mass cancellations and closures when the death toll of Americans with H1N1 hit 1,000? The answer is no, we did not!
That's because neither Obama nor his accomplice fawning media were about to say or report anything that would interfere with the govt. takeover of healthcare, aka Obamacare. On the contrary, Obama was praised, even when they only came up with about 10% of the needed vaccines for H1N1. That's no surprise for a President who was awarded the Nobel Peace for doing absolutely nothing. It's clear we have a media and political party who don't care if they crash the nation's economy, just as long as it takes out Trump. What they ignore at their peril is that this obsession carries with it the risk that voters will see Trump doing what he does best, solving problems.
We got a February Surprise from China, versus the usual Oct. Surprise often seen in presidential election years. This was the Chicom regime's payback to us and Trump, for actually wanting them to level the playing field, stop theft of technology, and stop their currency and trade imbalance practices. The Chinese sent a biologic weapon, in the form of thousands of its own infected people, throughout the world and the world is now paying a high price for its naivete and obsession with only profits. The wizards of smart, who outsourced most industries, never stopped to think that having most of our goods and drugs made by a nation that has mastered the art of manufacturing cheap crap and totalitarian oppression at the same time, would end this disastrously. Well, it has, and I wonder if the world will learn its lesson and stop this madness? Do globalists and NWO greed mongers from both parties and other nations even care that the system they counted on has now turned on all of us with a vengeance?
Aside from getting a handle on this pandemic, which we will, we also need to take draconian steps to disengage from any and all dependence on China for what we've allowed them to monopolize. Will it be difficult and costs us? Hell, yes, but look what's it's costing us now! Our entire society, industries and way of life have been up ended and are on a collision course for destruction, at least for the time being. We cannot let that ever happen again and we must punish the Chicom Regime for its crimes.
They wanna call in our debt? Fine, we don't pay it, what are they gonna do about it? This is a time for hardball, not patty cakes! Don't expect the globalists and their accomplice media (one and the same in the case of Mini Mike) to support that. They've got Red China's hand so far up their butts, they've even resorted to shaming anyone who calls Covid 19 what it is, the China flu or Wuhan Flu. We've always named organisms for their region of origin. Hong Kong Flu, West Nile Virus, Ebola Virus, Coxsackie Virus (a county in NY state) to name a few. I don't recall the media freaking out about any of those names, do you? Don't expect politicians or media to call for condemning China or putting the blame where it truly belongs. The left will always embrace our enemies before our nation.
I wanna end with one-party gridlock, it's what we're seeing from Tallahassee, nothing we haven't seen before. By that, I'm referring to the fact Republicans control both the FL House & Senate, as well as the governorship, and they have for decades. That doesn't stop them from failure to come to agreement on basic functions, scope of govt. and how to fund it. They extended session by one week and one thing guaranteed to come out of it is there will be no funding for our fluoridation, Donated Dental Services staffing or loan repayment for dental grads who sign a contract to practice in under served areas. There's always some excuse, year after year, we're Charlie Brown to their Lucy and we ain't never gonna kick that football!
I go up for Dentist Day on the Hill and see the same kabuki theater. They smile, take our $, tell us they're working hard to get it done, but it's all lip service. At least the lawmakers can't ever be accused of being afraid of the dentist, that's for sure. They were far more scared of that little twerp, David Hogg, and his merry band of stupid anti-gun kids. Look at how panicked they were after the MSD shootings and how they fell all over each other to pass bad legislation in a knee jerk fashion. Sorry, my friends. but our issues simply don't pack that kind of punch or register on their radar screen. A major part of this has been due to the House acting in a sophomoric manner and the Senate being the adults in the room, but just not able to get bicameral consensus. Looking at the lightweights who've been speaker, it's not a surprise. Whether it was Frat Boy Dean Cannon, Empty Suit Steve Crisafulli or the current Jose Cigar Man Oliva, their lack of priority or concern has resulted in a collective nothin' burger for dental issues.
I know I'm gonna catch hell for my reportage, some from dear friends, I don't mind. I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it anymore. Two sessions ago I sent a resolution to our GAC (Govt. Action Committee) to stop funding those who impede us and name, as well as give more to those who help. It was met with a flat out rejection and I was told that would only make things worse. Well, it looks like doing the same old, same old has made things worse. The only bright spot this session was we stopped the therapists again, thank God. I really think the fix is in in Tallahassee and they've decided they'll give us that one and we should be happy and just STFU about our other bills. I'd love to be proven wrong on that, though I'm not holding my breath. After 25 years of DDOH, I've decided to hang up my lobbyist shoes. I won't go away or stand down, just not waste my time taking a day and a half from my practice and flying up to repeat Einstein's Def. of Dental Advocacy Insanity. Although this should not need to be said, I wanna make sure you all know it. My take on the state of our advocacy the past few years is in no way a reflection of my opinion on the efforts of our legislative staff in Tallahassee. They work tirelessly on our behalf and do everything humanly possible to impress upon the legislators the importance of passing and funding FDA issues. This failure is squarely on the lawmakers, not our staff and their director.
I hope all of you stay safe and this nightmare ends sooner than later. Take care, my friends!

"Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport!"

Hello, everyone, it's been too long, apologies! I was waiting for the impeachment farce to end. The title above is from an old Aussie folk song, for those who might be curious   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RviuTfdfArM and refers to the continuation of the kangaroo court in my previous post title. Yes, it WAS a kangaroo court. Yes, it DID boomerang on the Left and yes, it HAS tied them down in a snare of total failure and frustration. Make no mistake, my friends, we are in a non-shooting civil war and I don't think it's gonna get any better going forward, especially if Trump wins reelection AND the GOP retakes the House.
We had a totally fraudulent set of charges, zero evidence and glaring hypocrisy of Plugs actually doing what Trump was falsely charged with, bragging about it on camera and actually forcing Ukraine to fire the investigator in exchange for US $ assistance. Yet, Pencil Neck Schiff, Nadless Gerry Nadler and Leatherface Pelosi have zero interest in acknowledging it, let alone acting on it. The same can be said for their media hos, or are they the media's hos? It's tough to tell any more.
Today Trump rubbed their noses in their failure to remove a duly elected and highly successful POTUS, good for him. Was it vulgar, nasty and sometimes unpresidential? Hell yes! But this is the arena Trump has been forced to operate in from 19 minutes after he was sworn in to today.
https://www.wmal.com/2019/10/21/flashback-washington-post-article-calls-for-impeachment-on-inauguration-day/
Never mind the stream of texts between disgraced, fired hack, Peter Strzok and his other woman, Lisa Page, where they reassured each other Trump would be removed and they had an "insurance policy". These traitors are damn lucky Trump really isn't the tyrant they accuse him of being. If he were, they'd all have been thrown in political prison, if not tortured for days and executed. Try what they and the media did in Cuba, N. Korea or Russia and watch what happens! I won't get any further into the weeds on this, all of you know what a crock this was and if you're disappointed it failed, you need to ask yourself if you'd want that to happen to any future Dem president?
Let's talk about the excrement show the Dems' primary process has been so far. They're still counting votes in one tiny state and it's only for one party's election, hilarious. Maybe it's because they're in no hurry to admit Plugs got his ass kicked and the party's torn between an angry, bitter old Marxist who got his first paycheck at age 40, and a lightweight mayor with a legacy of mediocrity and no support among his city's cops and black community. Maybe it's just abject incompetence, did the Obamacare website designer also do this screwy app that crashed? Let's not forget the DNC also had to tweak their own rules so Bedbug Doomberg could run, all whopping 1% of him. Fakeahontas was heap big pissed that a billionaire who's throwing heap big wampum into vote buying can skirt their rules. Right now, things are not good for the Dems. The guy most of them believe has the best shot at beating Trump is increasingly seen as a doddering, gaffe prone buffoon who fumbles with his dentures and is about to be exposed for all the years of Ukraine corruption and nepotism that enriched his brother and crackhead, useless son. There's no diversity in their candidate pool, this from a party who eats, drinks and shrieks diversity. Another scary stat for the Dems is IA's primary turnout was lower than when The Hag ran in 2016, while Trump's incumbent primary turnout exceeded Obama's.
On the other side, there's a POTUS with success that hasn't been seen in 50 years, and that's been despite the most punishing 24/7 assault, obstruction and resistance in our history, from petty insects who are all too happy to destroy this nation, as long as they can retain power. We are witnessing what happens when you drain the swamp and how viciously it lashes out. Trump's minority approval is also unprecedented, something that's got the Left as scared as the fact 82% of independent voters agree with his SOTU speech. From what I heard today, it seems the Dems suffer from a political learning disability. Nadless wants to drag in John Bolton, the disgruntled war monger who's pissed that Trump canned him because the nation's tired of sending our troops to die in Middle East  crap holes that want tribalism and Sharia Law. It's funny how Pencil Neck hated Bolton, right up to the moment he was seen as a potential useful idiot. Listen to this hypocrite a**hole speak his mind then pretend he never said it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNIIsCQlKyA
The same is true of Unfit Mitt, the Left trashed and pilloried Romney, until he promised to vote their way. Mittens just committed political suicide and reminded us why he lost a very winnable election in 2012, I hope he's taken out soon. Most hilarious is his wrapped-in-God justification for his actions, this from a guy who's been tougher on Trump than he ever was on Obama. Was he not religious in 2012? There's plenty more yet to take place in this saga and I'll keep you all posted as it happens.
Let end with a little dentistry. We just got back from DDOH and it looks like we had a good outing. I'm worried about our loan repayment bill that passed last year not being on the docket to get funded, but it also looks like the DHAT bill is stalled. It was to be heard in Senate committee the day we were there and it was temporarily postponed by the sponsor, Sen. Jeff Brandes. I don't know what this guy's problem is with dentistry? Aside from a misguided penchant for making everything about purely business at the expense of public safety, the DHAT lobby must really be greasing him. At least the House sponsors are usually freshmen GOP and they sign on, get their asses handed to them by us, then they go away. I'm glad this year's GOP House sponsor's from Orlando, not Miami. But Brandes has been pushing this turkey for 3 years and only doubles down every time we beat him. Bring it on, Jeffy, we're not going away, either! I'm also concerned about the bill that requires EVERY dental office to get expensive software for electronic prescription filing and monitoring, even if you only write paper Rx for your patients! This is a vendor bonanza and they want all of us to buy their product, like it or not, need it or not. They found a Senate funeral director and House realtor to carry this boondoggle for them, experts in the opioid crisis, no doubt! We need to kill this abusive bill!
A major part of this climate is coming from the House, they're led by Miami's own Jose Oliva, who sees every bad bill as just acceptable free enterprise that can be bastardized. The Senate are the adults on this topic and clearly have no appetite for the DHAT farce.

I'll bet the Speaker wouldn't sit for a DHAT to work on his teeth, let alone his kids. This is the problem with electing a cigar salesman as Speaker! Hopefully this session will end well for us, which I define as getting our loan repayment bill that passed last year, funded and killing the bad DHAT & electronic Rx bills for another year. As I've told my colleagues before, this a legislative Whack-A-Mole and will never go away.

"The Kangaroo Is Now A Boomerang!"

And a hearty g'day to all of you, mates! Okay, the above title means the ridiculous, contrived, desperate kangaroo court the Left is holding is already coming back to hit them in the face. I'm not gonna go through every absurd detail of this witch hunt now turned gunless coup. I wanna cut through all the BS and give you my take on what all of this really means and why they're doing it.
To do that, I will channel the hysterical leftist wimps, much the same way Pencil Neck (Schiff) tried to do that in order to put words into Trump's famous phone call transcript. The big difference will be he was lying through his teeth and I'll be telling the truth, not to mention mine will be funny, something that ass clown is incapable of achieving. So, here goes.
Pres. Trump, how dare you offend all of us! We're the experts, the establishment, the powers that be, the DC insiders who know best. We're unelected and generally unaccountable, so we don't GAS what the voters think, especially those who were dumb enough to vote for you. When we want their opinion, we'll give it to them in the form of speeches, liberal news and fake polls that were never meant to accurately record public opinion, only to make it go our way. We may be targeting you, but it's really those idiots who elected you we wanna take down and put in their place. We wanna make sure they NEVER do something like that again and won't forgive their snub of The Hag until they make amends by electing one of our dolts, like Plugs, or one of several communist hacks in 2020. You're just in the way, Donny, that's all!
We've been working 24/7 for decades to destroy this nation and punish it for the audacity to think America is exceptional in any way. Obama got off to a great start when he traveled the world apologizing for the nation he was probably not born in. He then delivered on his vow to fundamentally transform this nation into the model of mediocrity he cleverly named the "new normal". Look at what King Barry accomplished in 8 years, how dare you clean that up and make our messiah look bad!

Employment levels at a 50-year high, black & Hispanic employment has never been better, record numbers are off food stamps, stock market's off the charts, national pride and consumer confidence are sky high-WTF are you thinking?! You're making people realize they don't need govt. in their lives, that we're irrelevant and royally screw up everything we touch, you fool! Those are the things you did domestically we must punish you for, but you also committed other unforgivable offenses in the international arena which also cannot go unpunished.
For decades our State Dept., diplomatic corps, and endless list of useless bureaucrats who serve beyond any POTUS have worked tirelessly to demean the USA, cut it down to size and allow the rest of the hateful envious world to fleece us sans Vaseline. It's been our mission to let the world know we're to blame for all that ails them, be it their corruption, spinelessness that allows jihadist infestation that is destroying their heritage and identity, confiscatory taxation and over regulation that kills jobs, any creative initiative and a basic inability to protect their own native populations.
We've made sure America supports these corrupt, dysfunctional states and uses destructive cabals like the UN to gang up on us and give Americans the finger by putting countries like Red China and Cuba on the UN's Human Rights Council. Of course we also let them skip the bill when it comes to paying their fair share of NATO and UN dues. And why not, it's our fault these people are bankrupt. Then you come out and expose all this corruption and accommodation by our useless enablers. The Middle East has been a total debacle for decades and we fully intended to keep it this way, regardless of how much blood and treasure the USA spends to make sure the dysfunction stays as it is. How dare you remove 50 soldiers that we had as sitting ducks, all to make sure Mrs. Mohammed can vote for Sharia Law. We were the the ones who convinced that idiot, George W. Bush, to get into an endless war that cost him the House, Senate and leaving office with a failed, 30% approval. He played along and never said a word about it because he was dumb enough to fall for that "prestige of the office" BS we've been rolling you Republicans with forever. Then you come along and actually put the needs of our soldiers, taxpayers and nation above the Middle East, how dare you?! Let's talk about Russia and Ukraine, OMG have you messed that up!
When Vlad the Runt invaded Crimea, King Barry showed him what he meant by "more flexibility" when he bent over and said nothing. In response to the Ukrainians' pleas for defensive weapons, Barry sent them blankies, MREs and binoculars. At least this way they weren't hot, cold, or hungry and could see the Russkies invading from a farther distance. How dare you sell them Javelin missiles, fool, don't you know the Left worships on the altar of defenselessness, whether it's disarming lawful gun owners at home or leaving nations unable to repel invaders abroad?! Quid Pro Joe Biden took his idiot son, Sloppy Seconds Crackhead Hunter to Kiev and he showed those Ukies who's boss, yes he did! He got them to give Sloppy a cushy $83K per month, no show job in a field he had zero knowledge or experience in. And you thought YOU were the deal maker, ha! When Ukraine appointed an investigator to look into that dirty Burisma scam, Papa Joe had to come to the half wit's rescue. He extorted the Ukrainians to either fire the pesky investigator in 6 hours or lose $2 billion in U.S. aid. He even told them not to think he was bluffing and call Barry if they doubted his resolve. Quid Pro Joe even bragged about this to a room full of sycophants.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXA--dj2-CY
When this happened, nobody in the Dem party or media had any problems with it, how dare you suggest it be looked into! Not only did we not care about Biden's flagrant quid pro quo extortion, we're gonna punish you for doing it, even though you didn't! Don't you  know it's one of Alinsky's key rules (from Rules for Radicals, which Alinsky dedicated to Lucifer) telling his disciples to "accuse your enemies of what you're doing"? Well, Donny, that's exactly what we're doing and if we can convince enough stupid Americans to buy it, you'll be gone and Plugs will be POTUS in 2020! Wanna know we why do as we please and feel entitled to do so? Most of us are dweebs, non entities whose entire reason for getting into politics is wealth & power. We always come out rich and set for life, no matter which party is in power or how rotten things are for the average American, it's our gravy train. You were already rich and actually had the gall to become POTUS, donate your salary and do something good for most Americans, that simply can't be tolerated.
We're the club, the clique, the chi chi soiree-you're just an ill mannered bull in our self righteous China shop, nothing more. So far, our circus has had dismal ratings, no one's watching or really cares much, but that won't stop us. Our media accomplices will go on 24/7 full spin mode and tell Americans what they're supposed to think. We have no evidence but will use emotion to sway the masses our Soviet style "education" machine has programmed the last 50 years. You see, Donny, we have no candidates that can beat you- not Plugs, not Fakehontas, not Booty Grab, not Comrade Bernie, not Bedbug Doomberg, nor any of the other irrelevant lightweights. Therefore we have no choice but to destroy you, either by impeachment or at least damaging you so enough idiots who believe our BS will turn on you. We've overseen decades of American mediocrity and debasement before the rest of the world and we're not about to let you come in and actually put the needs of the American people before those of the Deep State, unelected bureaucracy and anti-American politicians whose mission in life is to grow the size and power of govt. by keeping a permanent underclass of lifelong dependent voters who have no other option than to have govt. run their lives.
Okay, I'm out of character and back to being myself, I feel dirty, like I need a long hot shower! This, my friends, is what it's all about and we need to make the Left pay dearly in 2020. In closing, I wanna wish all of you and your families a Happy Thanksgiving!

"Wal-Dent, I Told You So!"

Hello, my friends, it's been a few weeks. This issue is going only to dentists and those who work with us and know our profession. READER ALERT: If you're sensitive and get easily triggered by info you don't wanna hear or would rather ignore, stop reading and proceed to the nearest safe space.
Okay, we got that disclaimer out of the way. So, what's Wal-Dent? It's the latest step in the dwindling spiral of the profession we love but are gradually losing. Walmart has opened a full service dental center inside a GA store, the article is here, read it and barf!
https://groupdentistrynow.com/walmart-introduces-first-ever-health-center-which-includes-a-comprehensive-dental-clinic/
If you're wondering why I have a problem with this, I'll tell you. My practice may lose some pts., most of whom return once they've lived the McDentist experience. It's been very few over the years, thank God. Most of the anecdotes I get are from new pts. who went to a corporate volume mill and didn't stay past the initial visit. What they usually tell me is "some kid right outta school told me I had 8 cavities" or "they told me I had a gum infection that needs to be treated by 4 quads of SRP and tons of Arestin". Then they talked to friends, relatives or coworkers, who referred them to me.
Another version is they have fillings that are defective and they all need to be changed or those teeth need crowns. They tell me they didn't feel comfortable or trust the news they were getting. Just because I've mostly been able to survive the onslaught, that doesn't mean many younger grads with far less time practicing, pt. loyalty established or professional reputation will escape undamaged.
Dental offices in a dept. store are nothing new, we had K-Mart Dental for many years in Miami and it eventually fizzled. There's a big difference between the dentists who spent 2-3 years there and moved on to a better practice model, than the situation facing today's new dentists. We weren't saddled with $300,000-400,000 loan debt. We also didn't have a pt. population bombarded by 24/7 ads for dentist-in-box, DIY ortho, etc. Society wasn't as crass, materialistic, instant gratification oriented or distracted as it is today, nor was there mass marketing like today's.
How do the McDentist peddlers get around FL law that mandates only a dentist can own a dental practice? Easy, they have better and more numbers of lawyers than we do! My guess is they buy the license of some accomplice dentist and reward them for the sale in $ amounts they couldn't otherwise procure. It's also the price we pay for having too damn many lawyers in legislature. There's a Spanish adage that translates to "they who make the rules know the tricks". The tricksters are destroying our profession, they're also empowered by new dentists who literally can't find a job, let alone make plans to open their own practice or join a vibrant, thriving one. I've been ripped for saying that no dental student spent 8 years in post secondary education and incurred half a $million debt to be the employee of a dental mill or dept. store. Sorry, but I still believe that for the most part. That said, if that really is what you want for yourself, great, best of luck to you. I also think they're too scared to venture out and it's a hostile, highly competitive ocean they're swimming in.
So, what can we do about this? Legislatively, we need to get lawmakers to pass laws that make it less easy to prostitute our profession, both by Big Biz and accomplice dentists who sell out and don't care about the damage they pass on to the rest of us. Case in point, there are no McLawyer joints, are there? We don't see DIY legal kits (aside from a will & testament kit) for sale to the public, do we? That's because lawyers band together and spend big $ to protect their interests far more than we do. Yes, it's self serving, the same thing the hypocrite legislators we visit on Dentist Day tell us is a no no! We can cut out some of the PC nonsense dental schools are teaching and teach the future dentists better and more advanced clinical skills. Too many schools graduate dentists with precious few procedures done on their pts. That needs to start by dental programs hiring US grads that are fully licensed, not foreign trained dentists who can't even pass the NB 1&2, let alone the state boards, so they're stuck in these schools and work cheap. The ADA has way too little influence and seats at the CODA table and dental students are paying dearly. Schools can teach networking and encourage students to already begin looking at the near future and maybe team up with classmates to establish a viable practice. They can hire the same consultants their grads will have to pay through the nose for help a few years later. Dental suppliers can offer incentives to those who form such new practices. I treat bankers who tell me that old saw about banks not wanting to make those loans to the new dentists for fear of already present debt and poor loan risk is no longer true. They tell me the banks will lend the $, it's the new dentists who don't want to take it. Many of them are content to be employees, work a lighter work week and take more trips or other fun things. That's great but it takes money to do all those things. I also wonder how many young dentists have an unrealistic concept of the be-do-have dynamic? If you've only BEEN a dentist for a short time, that means you haven't had much time to DO dentistry and HAVE the things that income buys you. When I left USC I drove an old Corolla Liftback with high miles and wore flannel shirts from Jefferson Ward, at least they were still made in USA back then. When I see young dentists leasing a Bimmer, I have to wonder where they're getting their financial advice?
Getting back to the topic at hand, this Wal-Dent model is the perfect place to hire a bunch of DHATs and force the dentists to work for even lower wages. They can also have in-house labs and cut out many mom & pop labs. This also reminds me just how damaging it is for the FDA when we have these issues that threaten us but are sidetracked with the kind of pettiness and vindictiveness that took place at the June HOD. We need to be fighting these aggressors, not each other! Make no mistake about it, Big Biz has one goal- to make all of us their employees. They're aided and abetted by the likes of Pew, Kellogg's and former dental school deans who despise their grassroots colleagues and shill for the forces of destruction. If you doubt me, just take a look at what Big Biz has done to pharmacists and optometrists. There, but for the grace of God (and our willingness to fight) go we. In closing, I remember the few times I've visited a Target store and saw a McDonald's in there. That's fine for shoppers who want a burger & fries before or after shopping, but dentistry should not be reduced to fast food convenience to the tune of a billion drilled and filled.

"House Of Deception"

Three weeks ago I served in the House of Delegates (HOD) during the annual Fla. Dental Convention (FDC), something I did from 1994-2017. I briefly came out of retirement at the request of several members in my S. Fla. district.  What I witnessed and what happened to my delegation was appalling and unacceptable, something I never dreamed could happen at this usually noble event. I've always been proud of my HOD service and the caliber of my fellow delegates was a major reason I stayed on for so many years. Sadly, most of those great mentors are gone and I no longer recognize this now dysfunctional body.
We had our SF candidate for FDA Secretary, the first step to eventually become the FDA President. This has been the FDA's tradition for decades, to recognize the will of each district and respect their choice, the only exception being 2017, when a challenger emerged from the Atlantic Coast delegation and announced his intention to run from the floor well in advance,  before HOD convened, no surprises. What happened during this HOD was a stealth nomination, unannounced by anyone and done in cahoots with the leaders from the other districts. The fix was in, they knew they were going to do this for at least one year out and their plot was carried out in the first HOD session. For those who doubt me, ask yourselves how a retired trustee who hasn’t been to HOD for years just happened to be there, standing by the right microphone for the stealth nomination and how a carefully prepared speech was written in advance and ready for the insurgent to deliver, had this truly been a spontaneous occurrence?
The slate of candidates that included our chosen nominee had been voted on by the Board of Trustees (BOT), which included the insurgent challenger, herself a trustee. This challenger had even sworn the oath to continue as a trustee only 2 months prior. The last second nomination was done by one of our own former delegates and trustee, once held in the highest esteem by all. This person also ran unsuccessfully  for FDA Sec. in 2008 but had the class not to do what she enabled a stealth insurgent to do this past HOD session. That deference and respect for the will of her fellow district members went down the tubes this June. There's a reason this was done in perfidy, which I'll cover.  Our chosen candidate was 2018 Dentist of the Year, Lucy Hobbs Award winner and ADA Vice-President 3 years ago. Her challenger has achieved none of these distinctions despite more years in organized dentistry, and was not reelected to the ADA's Council on Annual Meetings, despite not being term limited out. So, given that qualifications were clearly not the reason, why did the plotters have such animosity for our chosen candidate? The answer is pettiness, envy and resentment that she refused to kowtow to their egotistical whims and even ran successfully for ADA V.P., despite their admonitions no to run because she'd lose badly and take our then ADA presidential candidate down with her. Well, she won decisively and that presidential candidate lost on his own, as did the previous two anointed by this leadership from the other districts.  That, my friends, is the one thing these ringleaders will never forgive or forget.
I visited the other caucuses to make the case for what was really going on behind the scenes and found few sympathetic faces. It was clear to me these delegates had been poisoned for quite some time and believed their deceptive leaders.  To further cloud the issue and justify this ploy, the insurgent and only supporter (from our district) told the other delegations our district had prevented her from running in advance, not informed her of upcoming nominating committee meetings, etc. This is all patently false and we have the emails and notifications to prove it. The insurgent did not even attend our 2018 Annual Business Meeting, where she could have run from the floor, because knew she had no support in our district and would have lost decisively. Besides, even if it were true that she’d been treated unfairly, why would the wronged party stay silent after the fact and wait to cook up this sham at the very last moment, knowing it would be difficult to for us to refute it? That last question answers itself.
I understand that anyone reading this would be set off and ask me why do I burden the rest of the FDA with our inter district infighting? Well, that infighting was dealt with in our own district and only made productive by enablers in the other districts who made sure their members didn't hear the truth and were too quick to carry out a hit job on a leader who's done nothing but take time away from family and practice and work tirelessly to serve all of us. This recent hit job was the final coup de grace that followed voting out this rising star and former ADA V.P. from the ADA Delegation for the second time this past January. It's clear this has been a personal vendetta from the get go. Think how ridiculous and vindictive this makes FL look to the rest of the nation! I'm in no way implying every single delegate outside of SF district was complicit in this cabal but clearly far too many were gotten to. This sends a very dour message, especially to our younger members who are considering going up the ladder. That message is if we, the junta, don't like you, we don't care about your qualifications, we can take you out and we don't really care what your members want. This happened two years ago in Atlantic Coast delegation and has left a divided district where several delegates resigned in frustration. I have no doubt that's what the plotters want, to get rid of opposition, but I'm here to serve notice to them. Our delegation isn't gonna cut and run and we refuse to be intimidated. This ugly trend is no longer a single isolated incident, don't be too surprised if it happens to other districts. This also mirrors what we’ve seen in DC for two and a half years, one side of the political aisle refusing to accept the results of an election, and is equally damaging to our FDA. In closing, it gives me no joy to report all of this to you and I'm only doing it so you can see what your elected representatives have been up to and the damage they've caused. It has to stop or we will lose our association to attrition when no young dentists want to serve.
